Special Enrollment Period (SEP) Update Special Enrollment Period (SEP) Update: Going forward, you must submit documents that confirm your eligibility for certain special enrollment periods (SEPs) before your enrollment is finalized. You have 60 days from the date of your special enrollment periods (SEP) qualifying event to enroll, change plans, or add new dependent(s) to your current coverage. However, you must submit documents to confirm eligibility for your SEP within 30 days of your plan selection.
